Promoting Hawaii’s cultural awareness and environmental protection through surfing

As one of the promotions in 2020, the Hawaii Tourism Board will work on Hawaii’s cultural awareness and environmental protection to promote responsible tourism through surfing.
As part of that, Kanoa Igarashi, a professional surfer from Japan (Kinoshita group), has announced that he has been appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for the Hawaii State Tourism Bureau.
In addition, a part of the surf exhibition “Mai Kinohi Mai: Surfing in Hawaii” currently being held at the Bishop Museum (Honolulu, Hawaii) will be promoted to promote surfing culture. Will be on display at Hawaii Expo sponsored by and will be engaged in enlightenment activities.
